Located in Chicago’s historic Bridgeport neighborhood, this project was a full gut renovation of a classic worker’s cottage, reimagined for a busy young family. Jessica Blue Interiors approached the design with a focus on longevity and adaptability, creating a home that could evolve alongside the family over time. Durable materials, layered textures, and a slightly moodier palette were balanced with functional layouts, including fully reworked bathrooms and reconfigured living spaces to better support daily life. The result is a cohesive, hardworking home that feels both elevated and resilient—designed to handle the energy of an active household while maintaining a sense of warmth and intention.
